MTM Pharmacy located in Santa Ana, Garden Grove, Anaheim, CA arehiring a full-time or part-time bilingual licensed pharmacy technician who can multitask and possess great customer service skills.
- Greet patients and healthcare providers in person and by phone; answer questions and requests; refer inquiries to the pharmacist.
- Maintained pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level; anticipated needed medications and supplies; placed and expedited orders; verified receipts; removed outdated drugs.
- Maintain a safe and clean pharmacy by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
- Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and procedures.
- Organize medications for the pharmacist to dispense by reading the medication orders and prescriptions; preparing labels; calculating quantities; assemble intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.
- Maintain records by recording and filing physicians’ orders and prescriptions.
- Generate revenues by calculating, recording, and issuing charges.
- Ensures medication availability by delivering medications to patients and departments.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
